you decide to trust your own strength and take the vines. you take a firm grip on the closest one to the bank, and swing but it snaps off from the tree! you fall into the stagnant water and look down at your hands - it wasn't a vine at all, it was a jelly snake! you slowly drown as the gloopy thick water fills your lungs.
